Delete your Tapstep data
Tapstep has no accounts. What you make stays on your phone, so most of it you delete yourself, at once. The privacy policy lists everything the app handles.
1. Everything on your phone
Your shortcuts, automations, run history, saved values, conversations with the shortcut assistant and settings: uninstall Tapstep, or open your phone’s Settings › Apps › Tapstep › Storage › Clear storage. They are deleted immediately.
2. Shortcuts you shared as links
In Tapstep, open the shortcut’s menu, tap Share and then Stop Sharing, or go to Settings › Stop Sharing All Links. The copies are deleted from our servers immediately and the links stop working. If you no longer have the app on which you shared them, write to us with the links (see below).
3. Anything else
To delete the rest — your anonymous Pro account and its monthly request counts, and the subscription status linked to it — e-mail info@ecma.co with the subject “Delete my Tapstep data”. If you had Pro, include the order number from your Google Play receipt (it starts with “GPA.”) so we can find it. We delete it within 30 days and confirm by e-mail.
What is kept, and for how long
- Purchase records: as long as tax and commercial law require. Payments themselves are handled by Google Play.
- Crash reports: deleted automatically after 90 days. They contain no shortcut content.
- Usage statistics (only if you agreed): deleted after the retention period set in Google Analytics.
- AI content reports you sent: deleted automatically after 12 months. They carry only a scrambled form of the anonymous ID, so they cannot be traced back to you.
- What you sent to Pro’s AI models is never kept.
